The loss of my Pops!

On November 15, 2009 my grandfather went to be with my grandmother in heaven. He was not only my grandfather, but also the only dad that I ever had in my life. He meant so much to me in my life, more than he will probably ever know. I am very thankful that I got to spend his last days with him and also got to tell him how thankful that I was for everything that he has done for me in my lifetime. I know that he is in a better place now and free from pain. I wish that he was going to be here when my 3rd child arrives, but I know that God had a different plan. This was a very hard time for our family, especially trying to explain to a 2 and 3 year old. We told them that Pops is in heaven in Jesus's arms and they seem to understand that even though they do not understand why they cannot see Jesus. I will always miss him and know that he will be watching over us and will always be a part of my life. I love you Pops and will miss you very much!

Hayven's hiking field trip!

Last Friday, we went with Hayven's preschool to Lake Ray Roberts on a hiking trip and we even got to roast marshmellows. It was a very fun time for all of us and it was good to go and get our minds off of things that were going on in our lives. Hayven was so excited to get to spend the day with her friends and get to spend the day outside. It was a beautiful day outside and so it made it a great trip overall.

Looking at all the animals that they had for you to view.
Looking at the fish in the tank.
She is certainly a Daddy's girl!

Getting their instructions for the trip through the forest.
Jordyn was getting tired towards the end of the walk and so she had to sit on Daddy's shoulders.
Back waiting for the ranger to start a campfire for roasting marshmellows.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year. We went to a church by our house where they were doing a trunk or treat and it was great. I wish that we would have stayed longer there because there were several cars that we did not make it to before we came back home. We came home then and went trick or treating around our neighborhood. I was very surprised at how many houses did not have their lights on. We had fun walking around and seeing some of our neighbors all dressed up, but just a little disappointed in how many people chose not to participate this year. Also, there are so many houses that have young children and so we all leave a bowl on our porch and there are so many teenagers that come up and just take the whole bowl. I just think that this is so rude, especially when there are little kids around and they do not get anything. Oh well, we still had a great time and a very Happy Halloween! The girls really enjoyed coming home and passing out candy to a few kids before going to bed!

They even got to go fishing for some candy.

Clark Family Halloween!

On Friday, we had some of our family over to have a little Halloween fun. We had jack-o-lantern pizzas for dinner that were so yummy (a pizza with a face made of pepperonis). Then, the girls all got to make Halloween cookies. It was a great time and the girls had fun playing together!

Hayven's preschool Halloween party!

Hayven had her preschool Halloween party on Friday and it was so much fun. I volunteered and worked in the pumpkin patch that they had. They had a little carnival and had several little games for them to play and win prizes, then we went back to their room and had little treats that all the parents brought. Hayven enjoyed all the little games! I did not get too many pictures because I was helping at my booth, but I did manage to sneak away and get a few pictures. Hayven really thought that her party was alot of fun and had fun with all her little friends.
