Christmas 2009!

This year we got to celebrate Christmas one day early because Price had to work on Christmas Day. Fortunately, for us the girls to not know the difference and so they were just excited that Santa came to see them. They got a large barbie dollhouse for both of them to play with. Jordyn got a pink car, dora and boots, a tag reader, several books, and more. Hayven got a leapfrog handheld game, some games to go with it, ballerina barbie, and more. They were both so excited about the presents that Santa had brought for them and have continued to play with them daily for a long time. Now, we have got to figure out where they are all going to go and get rid of some of the ones that we already had. Later in the afternoon my mom came over and brought them both American girl dolls and accessories to go with them. They love their new dolls and have had to take them with them everywhere. This makes me really excited because this is what I wanted for them for Christmas was to have a favorite doll that they will want to take with them and play with for years to come. It was a great day and we even got to watch it snow outside as well. We did not get to go to the church service because the weather was so bad and we were not going to attempt the roads to get there. It was a good day though getting to hang out at home as a family! Thank you Lord for this wonderful day that we got to spend together to celebrate the birth of Jesus!
Here is what the room looked like after Santa was finished!
