Today we got the chance to go to the Ft. Worth Zoo as a family and it was a great day. The weather turned out to be perfect and it was not too crowded, so all in all it was a good time. They were also having a Baylor alumni day there and so the cheerleaders were there and Hayven was excited to meet them. Here are a few of the pictures that we took because believe me there are way too many that we took from the day to put them all on here. Enjoy the pics of my beautiful girls and their wonderful day getting to go to the zoo for the first time.

Here they are ready to get in the car before leaving for the zoo.

Hayven was so excited when she saw the "hippos" and she would not let us tell her otherwise.

This is where they wanted to stay for awhile because the flamingos were very noisy and so they loved listening to them and the ducks.

Look at all this sand I can make a mess in.

Hayven digging!

Then she realized that there was a hole in the bucket.

Hayven posing with the Baylor cheerleaders showing her Baylor pride.

Jordyn getting to sit on the kangaroo.

Hayven was strong enough to hold herself up on the kangaroo.

Then she took a picture with her daddy.

She was talking to the baby kangaroo.

Jordyn had to touch it too.

Riding in the car after lunch.

Waiting their turn to ride on the Texas Carousel.

Having a fun time riding on the horses.

Hayven walking on the crocodile because she saw another kid doing it.

Now sitting on the crocodile.

The bear jumped in the water and so it was the perfect pic. Hayven wanted him to go in the water again when he got out.

Look at the big wingspan, she was a peregraine falcon.

Here is Jordyn's wingspan, she was a screech owl.

Here is Daddy's wingspan and he was a turkey vulture which is what I was as well.

The girls had to get on the wagon for a picture.

The elephants were very playful today and they were fun to watch.

The rhino was rolling in the mud and then he decided to get up and tooted. Hayven said "shoo-wee that sounds just like you daddy." I was laughing for a while after that one.

Too much fun! I love going to the zoo. I am looking forward to taking Carson when he will care enough to look at the animals. I am cracking up about the daddy comment - Hayven is too funny!
