Riley is 3 months old!

I cannot believe that my little baby girl, Riley, is already 3 months old. She is growing way too fast! She is beginning to look more and more like Jordyn every day which is funny because we did not think that they looked alike when she was born, but she is changing. The only thing that is a little different is Riley's cheeks are not nearly as chunky as Jordyn's were. Riley is a very strong little girl and she is holding her head up more everyday and looking around and everything that is going on. She is sleeping more through the night now. She goes to sleep around 9 and sleeps until 5 which is great! She is still sleeping alot during the day too, but when she is awake she is very alert and laughing at her sisters. She is recognizing people that are around here and remembering who she sees on a daily basis. This last week we did VBS and she even stayed in the nursery and did wonderful, they said that she was a great baby!
This is her princess dress that I had made for Jordyn's princess party and for her to wear at Halloween, hopefully!
Look at that cute little smile!
When she starts to laugh her hands go in front of her face like this, it is way too cute!
Here is Jordyn at 3 months old, do you see Riley in her?

Our Day Today!

Today we had a relaxing day after Jordyn's party yesterday. She of course had to put on her new princess Aurora dress that she got for her birthday today and wear it all day long. She also took an extra long nap today after her busy fun day yesterday for her party. She is feeling alot better today though!
Isn't she looking so cute in her Princess Aurora dress!

Jordyn's birthday dinner at Babe's!

We went to eat Babe's after Jordyn's birthday party with Oma, Aunt Lisa, and cousin Katie. It was a fun time! As always, they got to do the hokey pokey with the waitresses and did a great job. Of course, they wore their princess dresses to eat dinner and got lots of attention from others on how cute they looked. They even came over and sang happy birthday to Jordyn and she got to wear a really cute pink cowboy hat. On the way home though she got sick and the car and threw up all over her pretty princess dress. We knew that she was not feeling well but was not expecting that at all. It was just some sort of stomach virus and she is feeling much better now, but was no fun to clean up!

Jordyn's 3rd Birthday party with Cinderella!

Yesterday, we celebrated Jordyn's 3rd birthday by having Cinderella come to our house and play some games with the kids. We had a cute little princess table set up and all the girls came dressed in their princess dresses. It was a wonderful time for all. Cinderella got stuck in traffic so that delayed the party a while and so it was a little crazy at first, but once she got there everything got under control and the kids were all very intrigued with her. She sat down and put Jordyn in a princess chair and made Jordyn turn into a real princess. She put a crown and a princess sash on her. Then, Jordyn did some magic in a coloring book and by pulling things out of an empty bag. Then, she pulled out her pet skunk "cutie pie" and the kids all thought that was really funny. She was wiggling around and the kids sang music to make her dance. All the kids then did a craft by making crowns and such and got their face painted as well. After this we all went to the table to have cupcakes, ice cream, and juice boxes. They all sat very politely and ate their food quietly. Then, they got to pick from Cinderella's treasure box to have goodies to take home. Then, we attempted to take a group picture with all 15 kids that were present, boy that was fun, but did get some good ones. Jordyn had a wonderful time and told me that this was "the best birthday that she ever had!" I am so glad that she had such a wonderful time and she is enjoying each and every one of her new toys that she received.

Dance Recital 2010!

Here are my two big girls in thier dance recital of 2010. They do not allow you to take pictures during the actual recital but we got some before and after shots. They did a great job on their recital this year. We were a little disappointed that Jordyn ended up behind the curtain and so we did not even get to see her perform, but we are really hoping that she will be on the dvd so that we can see how she did. They had a great time and really enjoyed being on the stage. They are great dancers and plan to continue with dance again this next year!
