Vacation Bible School 2009!

This is our first year of Vacation Bible School and the girls are absolutely loving it. The theme this year is Zooplosion and it is all about zoo animals, which the girls love and have made some great crafts this week that I plan to keep for them in their books. These are just a few pics from us in the mornings and the last ones are from them at VBS. Luckily, Price knows one of the photographers and so she sent us some of the pics that she took of the girls playing in their rooms. I am excited because I do not really get to see them because I am teaching the whole time and so it is fun to see that they are having a good time.

Disney Our Last Day!

Our last day at Disney was spent at the Magic Kingdom just getting to ride a couple more things and seeing some more characters. The girls really wanted to get to see Stitch and so we were able to find him and watch his show. He called out Hayven during his show for her dancing that she was doing. He took her picture and put it on the screen. He said she was so cute that he could just eat her up and then "burped" (this is Hayven's favorite part to tell). She was very excited that Stitch said her name and put her picture on the big screen. We also got to ride It's a Small World and the carousel one last time. The last pictures are on the airplane ride home. It was a great trip, but we were definitely ready to come back home to our own home and beds. It took a while for the girls to get back on their schedule and so it will be a while before our next vacation. It was a great time and we look forward to the next time that we get to go back to Disney!

Hayven decided to stay awake the whole time because she did not want to miss a thing!

Swimming at Oma's house!

Last weekend we went to Oma's house to go swimming and hang out with her for the afternoon. The girls had a great time and did not want to get out of the water when it was time to go. Here are just a few pics that I took and a couple of videos of Hayven jumping and swimming across the pool!

Disney Day 6: Magic Kingdom and the Resort!

Today, we got started a little late and went to the Magic Kingdom to ride the monorail over to Chef Mickey's for a late brunch. None of us really ate that much, but we had a great time getting to eat with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. This was one of the only breakfast's that we went to that they had Pluto at. After that, we went back to the Magic Kingdom and went on a couple of rides, but then headed back to the hotel. We decided to go back today and all take a good nap because we were going to be eating at the castle that night. We then woke up and went to the pool for a little afternoon swim. We thought that we better take advantage of the pool at least one day while we were there. We went back and all got dressed up for our dinner at the Cinderella Castle. The girls got to wear their petticoats and they were so excited. It was a great dinner and the Fairy Godmother and the mice came out to visit while we were there too. We got to see Cinderella when we got there and the girls really liked that alot. They got some wands while we were there that they still enjoy playing with. It was a good last full day to be there!

Hayven's Dance Recital!

Hayven did a great job today at her dance recital! She had alot of fun getting up in front of everyone and doing her little tap routine. She did not do all of the steps, but she did very well for her first time of doing a routine. Her are a few pictures of her at the show. They would not let us take pictures during the show and so there are only ones before and after. At the bottom, are the pictures of the rehearsal from the day before, but I wanted to put them on here because there are a few from when she was actually on the stage.
