Gatti Town!

Tonight we went to Gatti Town in Frisco with some friends. We all had a great time and the girls just wanted to keep riding the rides over and over again. They also like the games that they can just keep dropping the coins in over and over again. Jordyn really loved the pizza and ate 3 pieces. Havyen liked the cinnamon dessert and after she ate her pizza was ready for some of those. We like going here and playing, but it is way too expensive to go on a regular basis, so this is definitely just a treat every once in a while. Here is the whole group playing the horse racing game!

Here are the girls riding on the boat. They were not sure what to think riding in their own seat at first, but soon they were having a great time. Once it was over they wanted to ride it again.

This is Jordyn's silly face. Both of my girls made this face at this age and Hayven still does it every once in a while.

Hayven enjoyed playing this game with daddy.

Hayven playing a little basketball!

Here is a little video of Hayven playing air hockey with her daddy. She was really glad that there was a game that she could play on her own and actually reach. At the beginning of the video, Jordyn decided to put her hand over the camera, but then we got it fixed.

Playdate

Hayven has a best friend now through her Kindermusik class and she has been wanting to have a playdate with her. On Monday, we had a playdate at Kelly's house and the girls all had a wonderful time. We hope to get together with them soon, so that we can meet Kelly's new brother that will be coming this next week. We went to eat at Willie's and the girls all decided that they needed to drive the car all together (they actually did it too without fighting).

Jordyn's music day!

Thursday is Jordyn's music day and so we took a few pictures of her in music this morning. She really enjoys her new big girl class with Ms. Laura. There are a couple of boys in the class that we have been in the same class with since they were 6 months old, but the others are all new and so she is still getting used to the new class. She enjoys all the new instruments and music that she gets to listen to though. So, hope you enjoy seeing how Jordyn gets to spend her Thursday with mommy. She really enjoys her one on one time and so do I.
Jordyn decided that she needed to sit on Ms. Laura's lap too (this was not planned, but made for a great picture and luckily I had my camera).
Here they are looking at the story that Ms. Laura is reading. Last week Jordyn was the only one that actually sat there, but I guess that some of the others decided to listen this week.
Look how well they are listening!
"Roll over Rover, roll over rover!"
I forgot to have someone take her picture during class, so we had to get the dog at the end of class. Then, she would not put him back into his house.
I love this puppy!

Wednesday is Hayven Day!

Wednesday's are always a day for Hayven and so today I decided to take some pictures of what we do throughout our day. In the morning, we go to Kindermusik and she loves it. Afterwards, we go to lunch with some of her friends from class and then sometimes go shopping or something. At the end of her day, we go to dance class and she does a combination of tap and ballet. They are practicing for their recital right now and she is having so much fun. I am excited about her first recital that will be in June. I cannot wait to see how she does and if she will actually perform the dance.
Each kid in the class gets to hold Rover and this was Hayven's turn and she absolutely loves getting to hold the dog and sing to him.

Ms. Jeanie was reading their story to them and Hayven always has to be right up at the front to where she is blocking the way of some of the others.
Today, she decided that she did not want to rock on my lap, but she wanted to sit with her teacher instead.
After lunch today, we went grocery shopping and she was so excited that they had a cart just her size that she got to push around the store and help me shop. She actually put everything in the cart for me and helped me to scan at all at the end.
What fruits do we need Mommy?
Here she is at dance class playing with a string that one of her friends gave to her.

Valentine's Pictures 2009!

These are their cute Valentine's pictures that we took at the Picture People. They turned out alright even though we had to wait an hour before getting them taken. They did not want to sit down or be still at all for pictures, so luckily we got a few good ones. We were able to get enough for our Valentine's card and that was really the only intention that I had for going. Hope that everyone enjoys their Valentine's day!

Trying to get both of them to look at the camera is almost impossible, no matter what kind of mood that they are in.

Jordyn loves blowing kisses! She has not quite got the part down about taking her hand away from her face, but it makes for a really cute picture.

Hayven looking sweet and innocent for her picture. I am not sure why she puts her face down on her shoulder like this for pictures now, but this seems to be her new thing.
