Kappa Delta Weekend

We had a great weekend hanging out with old soroity sisters and getting to meet some of their children. We went to dinner on Friday at the Blue Goose, Saturday played at the mall, and Saturday night had a spa night followed by dinner. It was a great time and wonderful to get to see some people that I have not seen in 10 years. Some I keep up with on a daily basis, but others came in from out of town and it was a great time.
Hanging out with the girls for dinner at the Blue Goose.
One of my friends that went to high school with me, go LH!

Jordyn was having a great time playing in the spoon.

Ring around the rosie!
Kathy's son, Regan, having fun playing.
Hayven playing with her good friend Daniel!
Playing peek-a-boo with mommy!

Trying to get a picture of all the kids that were at the mall was kind of tough.
Trying to get a cute pic of my two girls!
They had to ride in the car before we could go home.
After the spa night, a few of us went out to dinner at Chili's!
My two good friends from college, Kathy and Beth!
We went to McDonalds and had lunch. One of the big kids playing decided to put Jordyn up in the top and we could not find her. Kathy climbed up to the top and got her back down for me. I am sure that she had a great time sliding down the big slide.
Hayven and Jordyn sliding together!
Regan and Thomas sliding down together!

Playdate at Going Bonkers!

We went to Going Bonkers with our MOPS group and had a great time. It is a huge place and so there was so much room for them to play around and get lots of energy out. We will definitely be going back to this place sometime and running around some more. Hayven has been asking to Go Bonkers again over and over again!
This was her favorite once she figured out how to jump up and down to make it go.
Jordyn was enjoying climbing on the chairs.

Even Jordyn enjoying bouncing even though her feet would not hit the ground.

Jordyn had so much fun coming down this tunnel!
Hayven decided that this was her bed!
They were having fun getting bounced around by some of the bigger kids that were inside jumping around.

Birthday Parties!

This last weekend we had two family birthdays and the girls had a great time. On Saturday, we had Katelyn's 5th birthday party at her house. They got to pop the pinata and play with balloons. They had a fun time playing with their cousins and playing with the other kids that were there. On Sunday, we had Natalie's 4th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. This was a crazy party and not a place that I would recommend having a party at. The girls had a great time riding all the rides and getting to see Chuck E Cheese. It was fun, just a little overwhelming with all the parties that were going on at the same time. Hope you enjoy seeing the girls!

Jordyn had a great time with the balloons! Hayven hitting the pinata! Jordyn was flirting with this little boy the whole party. The birthday girl, Katelyn, in her fancy princess dress! Hayven loves riding the horsey! Jordyn loves it too! I think they rode this like 15 times. The birthday girl, Natalie, riding with the girls! Hayven and Jordyn peeking out the slide together. Look at that yummy cake! Hayven loved Chucky! Jordyn likes trying to ride the big horse! Even Price tried out the ride.

Christmas Day 2008

This was a great Christmas this year. Santa was very generous this year. The girls got a new kitchen, a glider to sit on the front porch, and a horse that you can actually ride on. They also got several clothing items from Gymboree (the new zebra line). They got a drum, a story reader, dishes for the kitchen, and pretend food. Mommy got a bracelet, digital frame, clothes, and Dancing with the Stars tickets. Daddy got an MP3 player, clothes, gift card to dinner, and grill. We really had a great time as a family hanging out for most of the day in our matching pajamas. It was a great holiday and we look forward to a new year watching the girls keep on growing.

Once they opened their presents it was off to play in the backyard since it was warm enough to actually get to play out there for a while.

They were trying really hard to figure out how to climb up the rockwall.
They love the picnic table underneath and I cannot wait to put it to good use this summer.
Even mommy got to swing too!

They enjoyed watching the dogs next door since this put them above the fence.
They like the glider because they can ride on it together.

Our gingerbread house that we made that night. They enjoyed eating the candies more than putting them on the house.
Now they were pulling them all off to eat them!
